With a big history in the music industry, it would be an understatement to say that Jake Cusack is experienced at making wicked Electronic music. Dark, groovy and energetic – his latest EP has it all. Releasing on Funk Dog Records, the EP consists of ‘Welcome To Madness’ and ‘In Me Woods’, two sterling examples of his forward thinking, dance destroying beats.
Working hard over the last few years, Jake Cusack has released overs singles and EP’s, alongside multiple albums. His passion for House and Techno sounds have propelled him this far, and are likely to continue his progression even further as time goes on. EP 10 oozes with Techno vibes, and Deep House inspired percussion, with serious bass and energy behind both tracks. The killer vocal sample in ‘Welcome To Madness’, which gives the track its name, adds another layer of eeriness, which you can imagine blasting out from a club system to a great reaction from the crowd. The flip side is jaunty and delicious, with unique synths all over the soundscape, but keeping the tradition of big beats and bass throughout. This is a masterpiece of a release, showing that the inimitable sound of the production wizard Cusack is only growing and growing in its prowess.
Running his own labels of AudioSlags and Studio144, the UK based artist is a music maestro of the highest order, and it’s no surprise he is able to make music which makes audiences tic, with his vast experience in DJing and clubbing. Available now to download as a Beatport exclusive, and available in general digital retailers on the 18th July, EP 10 is a must listen.
