18-09 welcomes Simyon to the label with their first release, the tech house inspired, Inertia EP. Support for the EP comes from teh likes of Fedde Le Grand, Gene Farris, Joe Stone, Paco Osuna, Angel Molina, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati and Richie Hawtin!!
Ride – Ticks all the boxes for an opening track to an EP. Tech grooves on top of a pulsating sub bass. “We’re gonna ride” is the call from the vocals and Ride certainly takes you there.
Snap – 2nd track on the EP, Snap, is a bit more laid back in comparison to the opening track. More jacking and stripped to a subtle bass line with hints of 90’s esque stabs filtered over the top. A definite mid set certainty.
Tide – A bang up to date tech stormer, will cover house, tech and techno sets. No nonsense track that sits well alongside the previous two tracks and one that will stand the test of time for many sets to come!
