Infekt Drops Bass Barrage With Debut Album “Veggie Cargo”

After a summer of anticipation and seismic bass bombs, INFEKT officially delivers “VEGGIE CARGO,” his long-awaited debut album and most audacious body of work to date. Powered by personality, and packed with enough low-end weaponry to shake festival grounds worldwide, “VEGGIE CARGO” marks a career-defining milestone for the German producer whose name has become synonymous with modern riddim’s evolution.

Across 11 bass-drenched tracks, INFEKT proves he’s not just pushing the genre forward, but warping it into entirely new dimensions. Longtime fans will recognize the signature trench energy, but “VEGGIE CARGO” lands with new levels of finesse, versatility, and sheer unpredictability.

Opening with the sinister and swaggering “VEGGIE ANTHEM,” the album sets the tone with snarling frequencies that lurch into gritty drops, boldly reminding listeners to “eat their vegetables.” From there, it’s a full-force plunge into chaos. “BOOSTED” surges with an electrified low-end that ripples through the body like a shockwave, while “MAXED OUT” unleashes distortion in short, brutal bursts that collapse any sense of stability.

Recently released single “DROP IT” with underground bass legend MAD DUBZ has already left a crater in the scene. A rail-rider’s fantasy of mechanical snarls and massive impact, the track represents a high-voltage alliance between INFEKT’s masterful production and MAD DUBZ’s underground grit.

Progressing through the album, INFEKT bends his sound into unexpected shapes. “KONG BASS” with emerging dubstep producer WRAZ leans into syncopated grooves, offering a head-nodding reprieve without letting go of the bassweight. “VIBE CHECK” flips the formula with warped, wonky swing and vibrant character, while “KNOWLEDGE” cools into chill trap terrain before breaking apart into a kaleidoscope of magnetic, glitchy textures.

Just when the album seems to ease, INFEKT drops “ZOOM,” a glowing finale of bright synths and drum-and-bass propulsion. It’s a rare, cinematic ending from an artist known for his destructive sound – proof that even the heaviest producers can write with nuance, depth, and movement.

“VEGGIE CARGO” is a showcase of force, instinct, and evolution. It’s INFEKT at his most refined and most unhinged, fusing unrelenting pressure with sharp design and a mischievous streak that makes each track a surprise. The result: a body of work that keeps listeners guessing while it dominates sound systems.
