Following on from Roger Sanchez and Riddim Commission’s summertime single featuring vocalist Richard Judge, the likes of Endor, ATFC and Ki Creighton have been tapped up for a remix package.
Under his S-Man guise, Roger Sanchez has made recent appearances on Get Twisted Records, Toolroom Trax and Snatch! when not helming his Undr The Radr imprint. Meanwhile, DJ Swerve & Marco Del Horno have been making a name for themselves as Riddim Commission, joining the dots between house and UK grime on labels such as Bullet Train Records and Ciao Recs.
First up, London-based producer Endor, well known for his bootlegs of Skream, Leona Lewis and Lion Babe, delivers a stomping remix of ‘Intimidating Love’ featuring crunchy snares and a moody bass hook whilst Judge’s vocals distort beyond recognition.
Defected Records’ ATFC then remodels the track into an infectious cut built on soulful piano chords and energetic melodies whilst keeping the spotlight on the emotive vocals, before ElRow and 8bit producer Ki Creighton concludes the package with a rhythmic reinterpretation of his own.
S-Man & Riddim Commission ft. Richard Judge ‘Intimidating Love (Remixes)’ drops on Undr The Radr on 30th September 2016.
