Martin Solveig & GTA - Intoxicated (99 Souls Remix)

Rising UK based duo 99 Souls are set to shake the electronic music world with their latest effort – a stellar remix of Martin Solveig and GTA’s ‘Intoxicated’. Out on the 14th of August, 2015, ‘Intoxicated (99Souls Remix)’ is seeking to add more feats to 99 Souls’ recent success and continue their run to the very top of the House music food-chain.

Since they got into the electronic music business, the duo has managed to reach some impressive landmarks. Their very first release ‘The Girl Is Mine’ immediately catapulted 99 Souls onto the scene, landing the #1 spot on BBC Radio 1’s Dance chart and earning the top spot on Shazam around the UK. Aside from touring the world featuring at some prime events, the talented tandem have also put their signatures on some highly acclaimed remixes, gaining the thumbs up from heavyweight names such as: Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Afrojack, Martin Solveig and Laidback Luke to name a few.

Their latest remix of Martin Solveig and GTA’s ‘Intoxicated’ is set to continue the success gained through other top-notch remixes like: Blonde’s ‘All Cried Out’ and Sir OJ’s ‘Slowly’. 99 Souls’ effort on ‘Intoxicated’ boasts a solid House attitude, adding deep bass-lines that make the lower-end of the frequency spectrum rumble. A complex vocal arrangement creates an uplifting vibe, with a blend of the prominent main melody and the rhythmic backing vocals. A wide array of effects spice up this remix, adding various colours and textures to an already exciting tune.

99 Souls have truly come up with a ravishing twist on Martin Solveig and GTA’s original wonder and it comes to no surprise that their remix has been picked up by music giants Spinnin’ Records and Virgin EMI, who have put themselves behind this release. The Dutch imprint is widely regarded as one of the very top electronic music labels worldwide, releasing some of the globe’s biggest hits, whilst Virgin EMI is home to global superstars like: Avicii, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Sebastian Ingrosso, Swedish House Mafia, Lorde, Rihanna, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and many others. With such a distinctive remix, there is certainly no doubt that 99 Souls deserve to be amongst such big names and one can surely expect much more yet to come from this fast moving duo.
