INTRODUCING NEST IN TORONTO, CANADA
Two of the impresarios behind The BPM Festival join forces with RYZE to turn their sights upon their hometown Toronto and unveil their latest nightlife venture NEST to open this May 2015.
The grand opening weekend will feature a special 3-night gala celebration with South African house music ambassador Black Coffee on Friday, May 15; Norwegian breakout artist Fehrplay on Saturday, May 16; and NYC dance music legend Danny Tenaglia on Sunday, May 17.
Veteran nightlife operator and BPM director Vito Tomasicchio behind Digital Dreams Festival, Kiwe, Maison, Century Room, Li’ly, The Crest and Nodo, BPM co-founder, director and Blue Parrot Beach Club (Playa Del Carmen) co-owner Phillip Anthony Pulitano, and local award-winning Toronto nightclub veteran and current RYZE owner Rob Oliverio are spearheading the club, along with BPM’s director of marketing and No.19 Music label co-owner Nitin Kalyan, who will be managing bookings and marketing. RYZE’s previous promotion teams, White Label Promo and Balance, will also be a part of the in-house team.
The newly renovated, 13,000 square foot club situated in Little Italy will feature a DYNACORD soundsystem with a main room capacity of 560 and secondary room capacity of 300. The club’s sound will be handled by industry veteran George Stavro of Sonic Lab Audio, a globally recognized, professional audio company that specializes in large scale audio production, system design, installation, and design consulting.
Friday nights will be dedicated to internationally renowned DJ talent and Saturdays will host local talent for house music nights. The adjoining restaurant will be serving a menu of tapas and small plates, and will be open late on weekends.
