Incognito production duo ATLiens have unveiled their brand new ‘Invasion’ EP, a 6 track production which lands in the midst of their 7-date US Tour.
Released on 23rd February, ‘Invasion’ features previous single release‘Interstellar’ featuring the vocals of Sara Skinner, and embodies the thunderous sound that ATLiens have become famed for.
Laced with the trap-tinged drop of ‘Witch Doctor’, and the gritty and cosmic sounding synths of ‘Invasion’, the production is soaked in the intergalactic sci-fi sounds the EP title suggests, with opener ‘001’ a one-minute cacophony of narrative vocal sample snippets set in space.
Teaming up with TYNAN on ‘Malfunction’, the Invasion EP displays the dynamic and diverse sonic arrangements that have been cleverly constructed by the enigmatic American duo.
ATLiens have been on the rise this year with major single releases, such as ‘Chief’ which received support from the likes of Skrillex, RL Grime, Diplo, and circulated Electronic XM radio stations.
Since then, ATLiens have released major singles with the likes of UZ, Jackal, and Quix across labels like OWSLA, Buygore, and Sony. Traveling the world in 2017 with their ‘Abduction Tour’, the pair are currently in the midst of a run of dates across North America, with the Invasion EP set for release on Friday February 23rd.
