Greek Art-pop artist IOTA PHI is set to release her stunning new single ‘Wide Awake (C Dorian)’ taken from her upcoming debut album ‘Homo Pauperis’.
Inspired by ideas of identity, post humanism and Greek mythology, the artist offers a unique intense, swirling mix of Alternative-Electronic and IDM blended with elements of Pop on the new single.
Exploring the dark yet playful soundscape, IOTA PHI builds an atmospheric haze of detuned synths, reverb drench vocals, pitched down samples and ethereal production that rides on a bed of surging percussion. Accompanied by a stunning cinematic music video, Wide Awake is undoubtably a work of art.
IOTA PHI explains: “What you wish you had done when that time comes. Give life? Read the dreams of humans? Find yourself in the arms of a volcano? Maybe you can do it now.”
