Jereko has released a new single ‘It Was Real To Me‘, under the GOTTA RCRDS record label.
Jereko is a music educator turned product, he knows how to combine the sounds of heavy bass and indie-pop to wrap them in a nostalgic lo-fi feel.
‘It Was Real To Me‘ was inspired by a relationship that should have been but never was. The song borrows a lot from blues music and mixes it with a lo-fi beat and jazz with trumpets hitting the drop.
My latest single ‘Inside My Head‘ was recently released on Aorta Records with unique and immersive sounds, so working after months on ‘It Was Real To Me‘ has confirmed that this is one of my best productions to date.
Speaking about the new version, Jereko shares:
“This song was inspired by a relationship, which never came to be. The song takes a lot of blues music and mixes it with a lo-fi beat and jazz trumpets, this is one of my best songs.”
