Italian DJ and radio show host Lele Sacchi releases his genre spanning ‘New Soul Sensation’ EP

November 8th sees Italian DJ/producer and popular radio broadcaster, Lele Sacchi release his ‘New Soul Sensation’ EP on Riva Starr’s prolific Snatch! Records. This essential two-track EP includes a remix from Berlin-based DJ Chambray and will be the final release from Snatch! Records in 2019.

Wrapping up another busy year of stellar releases, Snatch! Records’ 2019 final issue ticks off an emphatic stretch of prestigious accolades – Parris Mitchell and Nina Kraviz’s ‘Feel My Butterfly’, CamelPhat and Riva Starr’s ‘Crystal Clear’ and Star B’s ‘Gotta Have You’ to name just a few. Opening his Snatch! Records account, Italian selector and radio host Lele Sacchi looks to extend the label’s unstoppable run of form with his electrifying, genre spanning floor filler, ‘New Soul Sensation’.

Last year, Sacchi enjoyed a string of notable releases putting out music on Crosstown Rebels, Rebirth, !K7 and Internasjonal. After many years of hosting the famed Inthemix radio show on Italy’s Radio2, the influential tastemaker for new music and talent has now moved on to hosting Stereonotte on Radio1 and the monthly Italian Masters show on NTS radio.

Fusing free jazz compositions and infectious house hooks, ‘New Soul Sensation’s’ thumping groove warps the boundaries of genre and showcases Sacchi’s hybrid production-centric skillset. The track is driven by a looping piano and vocal-led riff that steers ‘New Soul Sensations’ robust and motoric beat. On the second track, Berlin DJ Chambray delivers a tougher, more techno-infused remix and provides a punchier alternative to the original mix’s ultimately softer exterior.

Lele Sacchi’s ‘New Soul Sensation’ EP will be available exclusively on Beatport from 8th November and everywhere else two weeks later.
