It’s the time of year when Francisco Allendes returns to Moon Harbour with a fresh new single, this time in the form of ‘Shakti.’

Allendes is based in Ibiza so brings plenty of the famous party island’s spirit to his music. It combines with his Chilean heritage to make for always fiery Tech House on labels like elrow Music, Saved Records and VIVa, while he was last here back in 2021 with ‘Monster.’ Since then he has continued to be a standout resident at ANTS at Ushuaia as well as crafting high- grade tunes like this one.

The characterful ‘Shakti’ has a driving baseline and slick drums, with plenty of Latin percussion and intoxicating string sounds peppering the groove. It makes for something brilliantly summery and exotic, while the Spanish vocals and fizzing synths add extra spice up top.

This is exactly the sort of cultural house track that will always stand out in any DJ set.
