Major Underground is the brand new Italian dance music label collaboration between music stalwart Maurizio Clemente and Sony Music, bringing you the best in contemporary dance. Their debut release is a feel good piano house stomper with a strong classic 90’s vibe from Italy’s Ivan Stairway titled, ‘Nothing To Lose’. A catchy soulful song, ‘Nothing To Lose’ is about breaking free and moving on, set to a vibey backdrop loaded with warm piano hooks, emotive string melodies, funky guitars and punchy house beats. Featuring several different vibes for the dance floor, the groovy Back To Funk remix carries an 80’s synth pop flavour, New York House legend Kenny Carpenter lends his expertise to a lovely radio edit and there’s also a sublime dub. A great first release and can’t wait to hear more of what the label has in store!
