Summer is here and Bogota Records have effectively turned up the heat with another special vocal driven hit and the kind that just doesn’t come along very often. A long time planned collaboration between Ivaylo and Slammer as well as singer Renate, the Guide Line EP is a statement of intent and the start of a new perspective from the label. Renate’s performance on “Guide” is one in a million. Think Zero 7’s prodigious “In the Waiting Line” met with club speed and deep acid production from Ivaylo and Slammer. Each of the remixers provide even greater club context; Demarkus Lewis turns the song into a pure, prefectly lush house tune, Tom Gillieron gives it a dubby, but big tech twist, and Andre Bravo goes for a darker, growling cosmic trip. All in all, a stunning performance from the Bogota crew and indications of a bright summer ahead with destinations like Ibiza in sight
