Laval resident Izzy Vadim recently played live at Ilesoniq festival in Montreal, which he then followed up with his EP Swamp on Kannibalen Records. His two-track project sees him return to Black Tiger Sex Machine’s imprint with a song the group has been dropping live for some time, as well as a superb collaboration with the French WODD.
Izzy Vadim kicks things off solo with “Hello” that has already made waves live in numerous festival sets. The hard-hitting headbanger is a memorable riddim-inspired gem that’s as memorable as it is gritty. Next comes the title track with WODD that has a bit more groove to it. Despite that, it’s still as dirty as any ol’ swamp is. So be careful, or you’ll drown in bass!
