Delgado drops the latest Stashed Music release: two tracks of chucky, Detroit-inflected tech house that continues to establish both label and artist as forces to be reckoned with.
Delgado’s stand out productions have caught the eyes and ears of some of the scene’s biggest hitters and labels, including Toolroom, Cr2, Hotfingers and King Street, with his releases regularly charted and supported by the likes of Mark Knight, Fatboy Slim, Federico Scavo, Steve Bug, Masters at Work and DJ Sneak to name a few.
As the name suggests, Delgado’s Jack Is Jack EP takes influences from the past to deliver very much the sound of the present across two fiercely raw house cuts. The title track rolls along on a powerful bassline, with vocal clips and fizzing synths creating an infectiously heady groove. You Got Me follows in a similar vein, building tension beautifully with gliding pads, intricate percussion and powerful drops resulting in a dancefloor workout of the very highest order.
