Enigmatic South London artist Jack Swoon steps into the spotlight with his new single ‘Come Over’, out 24th February on Viberoom Records.
True to Swoon’s talent for melding genres, ‘Come Over’ lays down a jazzy bassline over a garage-infused house groove packed full of sweet falsetto vocal hooks. “I wish you would come over / Don’t you know that I want you” goes the slinky, pitched-up chorus as delicate flutes fill out the mix.
After ten years in the industry Jack Swoon has finally decided to step out from behind the curtain to bring his sound to the forefront of the industry. Hailing from South London, this raw UK talent has a unique style of underground house blended with a melodic sensibility unique to himself.
Dubbed as “paving his own lane” by dance music royalty Pete Tong, Jack continues to bring a flavour and sound so unique that it’s resulted in the formation of his very own record label. Viberoom Records aims to give a platform to a multitude of new talent that previously may not have had a platform to shine, with the goal of building a community of like-minded music lovers of previously overlooked house music.
With plenty more releases to come this year, it’s clear that Jack Swoon is an artist to watch.
