Jah Frida Releases Vulnerable New Soul-R&B Single ‘Baby, I’m Too Faded’

Nashville Indie artist Jah Frida releases his latest single ‘Baby, I’m Too Faded’. Off the back of his 2022 singles ‘Hot Skin’ and ‘Catching On, Catching Up’ Jah Frida is starting the year right with his Soulful, R&B single ‘Baby, I’m Too Faded.

The track is about vulnerability and being open and honest with the people you care about when you’re struggling. Written back in 2020 when Jah’s house was hit by a tornado turning his life upside down and forcing him to move, ‘Baby, I’m Too Faded’ was a way for Jah to put his feelings down post-tornado. Backed by smooth soulful vocals, laidback drum grooves and silky lead guitar lines that culminate in a flute interlude that adds a further dynamic to the effortlessly sleek track.

Jah Frida on the meaning behind the track, “’Baby, I’m Too Faded’ is a song about the struggle of not feeling like you’re enough. It comes from a place of vulnerability and being transparent to those around you, to let them know where you’re at in terms of mental health.”

Having been releasing music since 2018, Jah Frida has steadily experimented with his sound while growing his audience, his last two singles ‘Hot Skin’ and ‘Catching On, Catching Up’ garnered support worldwide from the likes of Music Crowns, FAME Magazine and Jammerzine to name a few. His latest single ‘Baby, I’m Too Faded’ comes off his highly anticipated album due for release later in the year.
