James Hurr and Karsten Sollors take a bite of Jules Liesl’s ‘Cherry’

Already packing a punch on the pop playlists with its original version, Jules Liesl’s ‘CHERRY’ receives a huge rework for the dance floor courtesy of rising electronic royalty James Hurr and Karsten Sollors.

Their club-ready remix, out now on all DSPs and download stores, is utterly primed to detonate from the minute the needle drops. Tight percussive lines amp up the energy while twitching, snitching synth lines rollock and roil up against Liesl’s uber-pop topline. It’s an immediate, infectious energy and one that’s connecting with audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.

The hype around Liesl has been growing quickly. Previous edit Mousse T. Club Vocal Dub Remix climbed to #4 on the Traxsource Top 100 House Chart and #10 on the overall Traxsource Top 100. The week prior, it hit #7 on the Traxsource Top 10 Chart, signalling strong DJ and audience support. Liesl herself performed at Miami Pride and Winter Party, threw a packed release event at The Abbey in West Hollywood, and featured on the morning show at Gaydio Radio UK, Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ station with over 700,000 weekly listeners.

Adding Hurr and Sollors to the remix pack is a smart move for an artist with a clear eye on the dance floor. With Hurr working previously with the likes of Tiësto, Mark Knight and Armin van Buuren, and Sollors releasing via Farris Wheel, Toolroom and Nervous, both a qualified names that hit the clubland kudos brief on the head.

With strong support, growing buzz, and more music on the way, it’s safe to say Jules Liesl is gaining major traction.
