JatzDaKid, one of London’s most exciting and talented emerging rappers comes through with his first release of the year ‘This Is The Place’ and it’s a step up from anything we’re hearing in the UK music scene right now.
The single sees Jatz in his element, freestyling and singing over a trippy and atmospheric trap beat – courtesy of Chris Thomas AKA Kurisu, delivering his trademark trip hop style that has seen him develop a strong and devout cult fan base. The track is accompanied by a The Doors-esque video which shows Jatz fly out to LA, followed by videographer Casper Masi, as he stumbles through Hollywood Boulevard and finds himself trekking through the desert.
