Launching a brand new label for 2019, Italian house superstar Alex Kenji drops the sublime ‘Jaxx’ on Wire Works: a hypnotic, driving house cut that perfectly sets the musical tone for the imprint.
A new label for the New Year, Wire Works aims to provide a platform to artists who have the potential to push boundaries, striving to capture the sound of the next generation of electronic producers while paying homage to the masters that have come before them. Focusing predominantly on house in all its myriad forms, Wire Works will release music from both established names and future stars.
The honour of drawing first blood is given to Italy’s Alex Kenji. An internationally renowned and respected DJ and producer with over 10 years experience and a legion of fans, Kenji’s tracks have featured on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and in the DMC US House Chart, and he counts the likes of Pete Tong, JUSTICE, Kaskade, Hernan Cattaneo, Chris Lake and BSOD amongst his diverse range of supporters.
‘Jaxx’ is a sublime house cut, and the perfect record to launch a label aiming to do things a little differently. A techy dancefloor heater with a whirling, hypnotic vocal and intricately crafted rhythm, you can expect people to be losing their minds to this one for months to come.
