Jay B McCauley ft Leeny Pearls ‘I Am More Than Just Your Queen’ (Incl. MicFreak and Col Lawton Mixes) Vagrant Soundz

Vagrant Soundz label head Jay B McCauley joins forces with soulful songbird Leeny Pearls on the exquisitely deep and soul-drenched ‘I Am More Than Just Your Queen’. Leeny delivers a captivating heartfelt vocal with a melancholy edge, that could be likened to Tracy Thorn (EBTG) and Billie Ray Martin in style and tone, set to Jay B’s lush backdrop of warm deep house. Also on the package, MicFreak from Quantize Recordings brings his bumping dubby vibe with a nod to the 90’s, and Col Lawton from Deep Fix strips down the vocals and amps up the jazzy vibes, injecting a sublime flute solo and a funky new bass hook. Rounding off this release is the pretty ‘Bare To The Bones Reprise’, that really shows off Leeny’s vocals.
