Disciples - Jealousy (Acoustic)

Following the original track’s strong run on the Radio 1 and Kiss Fresh playlists, platinum-selling London trio Disciples have unveiled the raw acoustic version of their heavily supported new single ‘Jealousy’.

A soft and stripped back rendition of the original, the emotive vocals felt in this stunning acoustic version mirror the tone of the track’s lyrics, based around the envy of seeing a loved one with somebody else. Utilising the soulful voice of the trio’s very own Nathan Duvall, boosted by a rich harmonising support from the backing vocalists, the track features a downbeat tempo, and carefully crafted instrumental chords.

With the original version of ‘Jealousy’ boasting over 3 million streams since release thanks to a crisp and infectious hook, the track has been added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist, with support from Scott Mills,Pete Tong, and Danny Howard – who named it as his ‘Future Anthem’- as well as being playlisted byKiss Fresh.

Best known for their 2015 hit ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ (524 million Spotify streams) with global superstar Calvin Harris, Disciples have enjoyed a hectic summer schedule in 2017, performing at festivals across the UK and Europe including Reading & Leeds, V Festival, Creamfields and Tomorrowland. Adding to their relentless tour calendar, the trio will ring in the New Year at The Warehouse Project in Manchester alongside Low Steppa and Icarus, before playing their very own headline show at Camden’s KOKO early next year.

Headlining London’s famous venue on Thursday 22nd February 2018, the guys will step away from the decks and perform their dancefloor hits with a live band. Since selling out London’s XOYO last year for their debut UK tour, Disciples have shown immense development in their sound. With Duvall being the lead singer on their past two releases (‘Jealousy’ and ‘On My Mind’ (47 million Spotify streams)), he will be leading the live band at the show next February with his impressive range and distinctive vocals.

The acoustic version of ‘Jealousy’ is set to build on the original track’s growing success, with Disciplescontinuing to push boundaries and establish themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting crossover dance acts.
