Flamingo Recordings strike back this month with one of label boss Fedde Le Grand’s recent secret weapons by two of Germany’s hottest upcoming prospects – Jewelz & Sparks. Having been hammered around the global club and festival circuit, we’ve got all the proof we need that ‘Dope’ is a fully licensed battering ram of a single that’s already rocked some of the biggest dance floors in the world in pre-release. The duo has become a favourite of the label on the back of their ‘Hot Rod/White Sun’ release, which announced the pair’s arrival onto the world famous imprint.
‘Dope’ is a chunky big-room slammer with an overload of malicious distortion on the bottom end that turns the driving bass synths into a roaring lead. Already getting rave reviews from fans around the world via the A-list stars already showing ‘Dope’ love – Jewelz & Sparks once again prove why they’re hot property in electronic music right now. With Kaskade, Dannic, Yves V, W&W, Thomas Gold, Dada Life, Cedric Gervais, Eddie Halliwell, Tommie Sunshine and many more all giving ‘Dope’ a big fat thumbs up – we’re not in the slightest bit surprised by the hype that’s built leading up to the release.
It’s another ball hit out of the park by the relentless German duo who’re not looking like slowing down any time soon. Having already racked up releases with many of the biggest labels on the planet – the guys are keeping a steady line of firepower rolling out of their studio and we’re all well and truly ready and waiting for more of the same.
