Ahead of the release of Jillionaire & Salvatore Ganacci’s electric new club single ‘Fresh’, out on the 3th August, a trio of excellent reworks from Codec, My Nu Leng and Rene La Vice have been announced to form the official remix package. With the original already picking up support from a stellar cast of dance music heavyweights in Dillon Francis, David Guetta, Tiesto and Skrillex, each of the three new takes will ensure that ‘Fresh’ cements itself as one of the summer’s biggest dance anthems.
First up on remix duties are emerging London-based producer duo Codec, who flip the original’s charging electro-house infused rhythms entirely, instead opting for punchy bass and stripped back, rhythmic percussion to give the track plenty of new dance floor heat. Precociously-talented duo My Nu Leng also lend their skills to reworking ‘Fresh’, blending a sublime rolling bass line and warped FX with carnival drums and a series of expertly-timed instrumental breakdowns, whilst Canadian producer Rene LaVice ups the tempo on his drum & bass edit. His huge, contorted synth lines and storming, hard-hitting drums carry ‘Fresh’ into exciting new dance floor territory.
With three incredibly diversified takes all adding to the undoubted flair of Jillionaire & Salvatore Ganacci’s original mix, ‘Fresh’ looks all set to enjoy plenty of rotation throughout the summer.
