Jimmy & the Revolvers are a four piece from Liverpool specialising in their own brand of Scouse indie inspired by the eternal genius of the 50s and 60s. Expect tight harmonies, catchy melodies and a beat you can’t help but move to…
Formed in early 2013, Jimmy & the Revolvers are Jay Rehm on Vocals & Acoustic Guitar, Kurt Riley on Vocals & Bass, Jimmy Moon on Electric Guitar and Ash Michael on Drums. Bursting onto Liverpool’s vibrant music scene with their debut AA side ‘Aimee’s Song/Frosty’ in June 2013, the band quickly became a favourite talking point for the city’s music bloggers and DJs, leading to them earning a large and ever growing following of fans, drawn to the effortless cool of their harmonies and infectious melodies.
More glowing reviews followed the release of their four track EP ‘Sunday Morning’ on New Year’s Eve 2013, which gained airplay across the UK and was chosen as one of BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson’s Fresh Faves on his Fresh on the Net website in February 2014. Support slots with Ian Skelly (former The Coral) and a brilliant performance at Liverpool Sound City 2014 have proved that the buzz around Jimmy & The Revolvers is entirely justified and set to get even bigger.
