Joachim Pastor Marks New Direction with ‘Forsaken Memories’ via Armada Music

Flourishing into one of the leading names in electronic music over the past few years, French producer Joachim Pastor teams up with Cartouche for a magical collaboration, Forsaken Memories – out now on Armada Music.

Marking a new musical and visual direction for the critically acclaimed producer, Joachim Pastor’s latest addition to his catalogue emanates a nostalgic atmosphere through poignant lyrics and an intricately composed arrangement. Encouraging the listener to reflect, Cartouche’s touching vocals are met with twinkling keys, guiding synths and driving bass. Arriving at the perfect time to beckon the summer months, this essential single will instantly capture the hearts of music lovers all over the world. Speaking about the release, Joachim Pastor mentioned: “Forsaken Memories is a high-energy, nostalgic melodic techno track that captures the bittersweet feeling of letting go of memories. With a captivating beat and emotive melody, the track evokes a sense of both longing and release, inviting listeners to dance and reflect on the memories they may have left behind.” To Joachim, music is not about the hype, trends or the weekly special. The Hungry Music founder has remained true to his foundations and moves solely to the beat of his own drum. Classically trained at the Versailles Conservatory, and inspired by the works of seminal artists such as Daft Punk, Sonata Artica and Jean-Michel Jarre, Joachim’s melodious brand of electronica offers a sense of sophistication not easily found in today’s music world. Designed to make listeners feel with every fibre of their being, his music is an expression of emotion with a danceable twist, and gathers over one million monthly streams on Spotify alone. Enchanting crowds on some of the world’s biggest stages, Joachim has performed at the likes of Tomorrowland, DGTL and Pleinvrees. Releasing his debut full-length studio album on Armada Music in 2021, Greater Message helped to solidify his reputation as a producer, and gives a deeper insight into his sonic identity.
