John Dahlback feat. Rebecca & Fiona – Honors

To be released via Ultra on August 5th, John Dahlbäck has teamed up with Swedish powerhouse duo Rebecca & Fiona to create ‘Honors.’ With Dahlbäck’s hugely successful ‘Fireflies’ recently picking up nearly half a million SoundCloud plays, it seems only right that he should work with one of the hottest production/DJ duos on the scene at the moment; Rebecca & Fiona are certainly set to continue their world domination this year. He says of the collaboration, “I’ve been a huge fan since the first time I saw them play and their energy is something else! Their vocals take ‘Honors’ to a whole other level.”

Instantly catching attention with a softly pulsating intro, Dahlbäck’s versatility really comes into play with the emotive, pop-inspired chorus, accompanied by his trademark dose of bass. Melodic synth patterns play out beneath Rebecca & Fiona’s distinctive vocal tone, as it continues to soar towards a passionate climax.

‘Honors’ is uplifting progressive house at its finest – an inimitable and sophisticated track that screams summer dance floors, and a thrilling display of production talent from the Swedes.
