John Dahlbäck’s latest single “We Were Gods” – created in partnership with Swedish indie pop band Urban Cone and emerging producer Lucas Nord – is one of the most beautiful dance tracks to hit the scene over the last few months. Uplifting and complex, the song now has an incredible video as well – a cross between “Inception” and “Where The Wild Things Are.”
Watch this video to enter a story about a man and a woman launching into a fever dream. Two people embark on a journey (now in puppet form) exploring the world together on a whirlwind. When they return to their human form the man and woman are left with one joint vision that explodes across their imagination and burns a hole in their collective consciousness.
Everything’s all a bit hazy…and furry.
