LIVE IN ARGENTINA, the fourth addition to John Digweed’s much lauded ‘Live In…’ series – following ‘Live in Cordoba’ (April 2012), ‘Live in London’ (December 2012) and ‘Live In Slovenia’ (May 2013) – has finally seen its highly anticipated release on the legendary Bedrock imprint.
Taken from the live recordings of two phenomenal gigs at Rosario & Buenos Aires in September 2013 – where John showcased over 12 hours of the most forward-thinking, cutting edge electronic music to over 14,000 people over 2 nights – the Bedrock label boss now proudly presents a 4xCD & 5×12″ Vinyl release, featuring 5 hours of music from artists such as Tiga Vs Audion, Tiefschwarz, Deetron, Nick Curly, Martin Buttrich amongst many others.
This, along with a DVD of footage from the Argentina shows and bonus footage that really captures that magic that happened that weekend, is available to purchase now, exclusively from the Bedrock store.
The DVD features 40 minutes of live footage from Rosario & Buenos Aires along with commentary and interviews with John about getting to the gigs and his anticipation of both parties. Filmed and edited by Our Man In The Field, the recording really captures an intimate view of the clubbers at both Metropolitano and Mandarine Park along with its host John Digweed giving an amazing first hand representation of the parties and the vibrant scene in Argentina.
Following the critically acclaimed October 2013 release of his concept collaboration album ‘Versus’ – a joint venture with fellow Bedrock stalwart Nick Muir and ten further collaborators – LIVE IN ARGENTINA caps of a phenomenal year for John Digweed; a year that’s seen him entertain some of the most exceptional parties and festivals across all corners of the world, and one that’s seen Bedrock go from strength to strength. Add to this his weekly radio show Transitions and you start to wonder if he has time for anything else! If one thing is certain, it’s that John will be continuing exactly where he left off as we enter 2014.
LIVE IN ARGENTINA – the 4xCD limited edition signed slipcase version and the DVD is available to buy now exclusively through the Bedrock store.
