MA?K (known as Question Mark) has delivered a seriously luscious EP full of deep house warmth for Somn'thing Records.
The EP is packed with lush, deep, house music. First up is ‘You Got’. A pure deep house gem that flows, driven by a rock-solid groove whilst uplifting pads introduce a deadly bass line and side-chained bass synth that build throughout the tune with a tasty vocal hook.
The temperature stays on a constant high on EP title track – ‘Joy’. Skippy percussion and looped ‘Joy’ vocal take you on a journey into deep house with soft pads and an uplifting feel of delight!
Track 3 is ‘Give’ which is a perfect addition to the EP. A Pitched down vocal sample and perky percussion strikes out on a heavy bass line complemented with the perfect female addition to take you on another deep club outing.
Finally, ‘Solace’ rounds proceedings off nicely. Rising from the start with a solid rhythm and drums. The hooky vocal sits cosiley with the bass line as a rubber band of a synth line bounces around in the mix to finish of this house odyssey.
