Joyful Family feat Mike Anderson - Joyful Family feat Mike Anderson – Arrange Me

Italian production outfit Joyfull Family return with a slice of jackin’ old school house featuring vocals from Mike Anderson and remixes from Takuya Yamashita, Jamie Anderson & Melchior Sultana.

Joyfull family are DJ/producers Cristian Carpentieri, Guido Nemola and Chico Perulli. Together the three Italians scored a club hit back in 2005 with ‘Da Breaker’ a record which lead to Radio 1 support and international success for the trio. After a series of further singles the production outfit went their separate ways , taking their DJ talents to some of Italy’s leading clubs. Now in 2015 Joyfull Family are back with a stripped old school house sound for brand new single ‘Arrange Me’.

The records comes on brand new label Disciplina and see the trio joined by UK Acid house veteran Mike Anderson who lends his distinctive vocals to the recording. The original version of ‘Arrange Me’ is a pulsing and sparse House cut that harks back to the sound of the late eighties. A bubbling, acidic bassline and taut drum programming provide the perfect bed for Anderson’s spoken vocal, hypnotics and emotive, this is quality stuff.

The first of the remixes comes from Japanese techno producer and Cadenza artist Takuya Yamashita who toughens up the drums and takes the track into techier territory with it’s squelching top line and twisted vocal snippets. Next up we have UK techno veteran Jamie Anderson who delivers an intense warehouse inspired workout that has 6am stamped all over it. Finally Maltese born, multi-instrumentalist Melchior Sultana joins the fray with a sublime deep and musical house version that showcases the remixers undoubted production talents.

A sterling package from new label Disciplina and trusted production outfit Joyfull Family.
