Juan Kidd’s “Tripping EP” contains three must hear peak time house tracks!
House music runs through Juan Kidd’s veins. Beatport #1’s, releases on the mighty Defected, Size, Toolroom Great Stuff and Rebirth to name but a few more than prove his pedigree in dance music.
Recently he’s been locked in the studio penning his debut album due later this year. In the mean time we have the first EP of slamming house via his own Weirdo label.
The Kidd has gone back to his jackin’ House roots on “Trippin” – a slammin’ piece of acidified house music with old school beats, rollin bassline and an ever moving acid lead. Ace!
“Day & Night” is a rollin’ slice of house with an amazing vocal chopped and fucked up throughout the track but left to breath in the breaks, a definite anthem for those discerning house heads.
“All I Ever Wanted” has an old school feel with bang on up to date production, 909 drums, analogue synths and a slammin’ bass line.
Whichever is your track, the whole EP delivers an on point house sound .
It’s a big welcome back to Juan Kidd.
