One of the most authentic stars to emerge onto the US techno circuit in the past decade, Juheun is pushing his performance setup to the next level in 2023 with the announcement of his debut initiative within the live space. Travelling through North America, Latin America, Asia and beyond, Juheun will present a live hybrid setup through his upcoming Multiplanetary Tour, whilst showcasing a whole host of unreleased music alongside the cardinal cuts of his discography.
Famed for his ability to evolve with the times and integrate the latest technology and hardware into his sets, Juheun’s inaugural live station expands on his current setup with the addition of the Grace Design m900 DAC, Ableton Live, Novation Launch Pad Mini, Native Instruments Maschine Mikro and Faderfox MX12.
A staunch contributor to the progression of the underground scape and proponent of a unique, forward-thinking sound that champions dramatic minimal techno alongside intriguing basslines and infectious melodies, Juheun’s extensive body of opuses have become a regular feature in Beatport’s top charting territories. Having spent years honing his skills in the studio and cultivating this unmistakable sound, Juheun has become a master of his machines, both digitally and analog, exploring their darkest corners to extract the inorganic, spacey sensibilities his audience have come to know and crave. As such, he has proven to be a firm favourite for labels like Octopus Recordings, Tronic, Kuukou Records and Set About, and will be revisiting some of these catalogue classics within his upcoming tour.
In addition to debuting his new live hybrid setup, the Arizona-based talent will unveil a pervasive collection of unreleased records, giving crowds across North & South America and Asia a chance to experience these fresh creations in their intended setting.
Juheun’s Live Multiplanetary Tour will stop through Panama, Las Vegas, San Diego, Albuquerque, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Tokyo, with further destinations, details and dates still to be announced. An essential component to the techno circuits within these relevant markets, the arrival of his live hybrid series is a much welcome initiative for his dedicated following and will no doubt ensure his elevation to even greater heights.
