Julian Sacheli & Mike Kerrigan Team Up For New Single ‘Inhibitions’ via Dirtybird

Two of Dirtybird’s rising soloists, Julian Sacheli and Mike Kerrigan, have teamed up for a new single ‘Inhibitions’, the latest addition to the label’s Flight Week collection, out today.

‘Inhibitions’ is a nonstop heater built for continuous momentum, driven by rolling percussion, tech-soaked synth leads, and thumping kicks that lock into a tight, functional groove. The track pulls from classic tribal house influences while letting subtle shifts in rhythm and texture carry the energy forward. Designed to move without pause, Sacheli and Kerrigan deliver a collaboration that feels equally at home in peak-time club sets and long, late-night stretches.

Julian Sacheli is a Miami-born and based producer, DJ, and ½ of the duo Black V Neck. Since co-founding the project with Ian Beato in 2017, their pair have released on labels like Club Sweat, Repopulate Mars, and This Ain’t Bristol, launched their own Retail Records imprint, and performed at major festivals like Coachella, Ultra, and EDC. Last year, Sacheli launched the start of his solo journey with his first release under his own name, ‘Be Alone’.

San Francisco-based producer Mike Kerrigan has solidified his place as one of Dirtybird’s rising players. Since first appearing on the 2020 Couchout Compilation with ‘I Caught A Vibe’, Kerrigan has become a consistent force on the label. In 2022, Kerrigan teamed up with fellow Bay Area producer n808 for ‘Penguin Hit Squad’, returning the following year with his solo Liquid Dreams EP and contribution to the Dirtybird Players Compilation (‘Dark Play’). Last year, Mike Kerrigan joined the label for their inaugural Flight Week writing camp where he reunited with n808 for ‘Buckle Up’.
