Fresh off his highly acclaimed debut EP release, mysterious and anonymous producer juuku has left no electronic stone unturned, and quickly returned to the scene with a superb remix of the infamous Porter Robinson’s ‘Mother’. Only dropping the song on SoundCloud and receiving the overwhelming response and love he has, just shows how far juuku has come in such a short space of time.
The song suddenly explodes post 1 minute in, and showcases all of juuku’s signature soundscapes and creative intellect. He has beautifully captured the essence and mood of the track, whilst also implementing his own style and movements. Porter is one of juuku’s biggest influences and has stemmed throughout his work and releases to date, so it’s very fitting that he has provided this hugely potent remix as a virtual thanks to the electronic master. juuku however, is much, much more than just the apprentice.
