Juventa – Kinetica EP
What better way to kick off 2015 than with a Juventa EP? The Dutch star made 2014 a year to remember with sterling releases spanning both the trance & progressive house spectrums and exploring more filmic arrangements in his ‘Culture Flow’ EP. 2015 is primed & set to be the biggest yet for the talented producer and kicking things off in style, we introduce a 5-track EP named ‘Kinetica’.
Following suit with the aforementioned ‘Culture Flow EP’, ‘Kinetica’ shows Juventa’s sublime ability in making a cohesive body of work, but this time from floor rocking, electro-tinged progressive house, as the EP flows from start to finish in stunning style. Opening with the atmospheric, driving intro ‘All And None’, showing pure audible intricacy as its flared basslines & chopped synths rumble throughout, the EP moves onto the widely supported ‘SHWDWN’ a true stand out production, championed by the worlds DJ elite.
Next up, is the aptly titled ‘Torque’, with those darting synths, a delicate string mid-section & Juventa bass by the bucket-load which make up this energetic number which is following in SHWDWN’s footsteps, by already featuring in numerous top DJ’s sets.
‘Woolloomooloo’, previously heard on Juventa’s Enhanced Sessions Volume Four, is finally available as part of the EP. A driving record which provides flexing bass lines & gritty FX, serves as a heady climax, before the proceedings conclude with the all-together slower ‘Waking’ Outro which rounds off the EP and provides an accomplished & complete finale to this outstanding release.
Juventa starts the year with a bang, this is the Kinetica EP, as supported by Tritonal, Hardwell, Paul van Dyk, Nicky Romero, Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten, Dyro and many more.
