Kaiser Souzai drops debut album “Entangled” under melodic alias Purple Kaiser
Focused on melodic grooves with strong melody and epic atmosphere, the debut album from Purple Kaiser is the alter ego of Markus Binapfl who also produces under the alias of Kaiser Souzai.
In a similar style to other artists such as Solomun, Tale Of Us or Artbat, this eleven-track album showcases the Purple Kaiser style that blends techy elements with deep pads to create epic house music.
Purple Kaiser tracks can already be found on scene leading labels like Bar 25, and the album titled Entangled is coming out via his own Ballroom Purple.
Like a voyage through space, the albums opening track “Liquid Sky” starts out on a steady trajectory that picks up momentum as it reaches interstellar heights, then after leaving the earth’s atmosphere hits a sea of tranquillity filled with wondrous sights of amazement from atmospheric cuts like “Starstruck”.
Ready to return to earth, things start to up speed again with tracks like “Seen The Lights” building up the pace needed to punch back through to earth. The intense ride home is captured in the dark mood of “Take Me Home” that feels like the building intensity of holding your breath before finally exhaling with a sigh of relief and release of mounting pressure.
Highly conceptual and perfect for home listening, this fine-tuned album is also streamlined for club plays with key tracks such as “Purple Cycles” and “Seen The Lights” having all the right ingredients to enrapture a sweaty dance floor.
