As the days are ticked off and time rolls on towards July 9th and 10th for the 2016 edition of Kappa Futur, yet more amazing names can now be revealed. The festival takes place at Parco Dora in Turin and will bring together 45, 000 techno lovers as well as tens of world beating DJs.
Since launching in 2012, Kappa FuturFestival has firmly established itself on the global festival circuit, with music running from midday through midnight on both Saturday and Sunday. With its varied hangouts, DJs between the trees and lashings of Italian food and drink, this unmissable festival plays out in massive hangars and industrial spaces in the heart of Torino. It is a real mass communion where techno lovers unite.
The full announcement of acts means that Day 1 will feature Music On man Marco Carola, Terminal M boss Monika Kruse, minimal icon Raresh and techno talents Sam Paganini and Margaret Dygas, whilst Day 2 will feature more heavyweights such as Berghain’s Ben Klock, BPitch Control boss Ellen Allien, Intec artist Nicole Moudaber b2b Skin from Skunk Anansie and French trio Apollonia. All in all, another top drawer techno line-up that pulls together stars of the genre old and new.
Of course, the first wave of names included Cocoon label boss Sven Vath, CLR’s Chris Liebing, Kings of House aka David Morales, Tony Humphries and Louie Vega, New Jersey legend Kerri Chandler, Chicago star Lil Louis and New York’s Danny Tenaglia, Trip boss Nina Kraviz, Intec head honcho Carl Cox and minimal techno favourites Mike Shannon and DeWalta.
