Italy’s iconic Kappa FuturFestival has confirmed it will return in 2022 for its biggest ever edition and for the first time ever adds an additional day to the festival in celebration of their long-awaited return, after 2020 and 2021 editions were both postponed.
Maurizio Vitale jr., CEO & Co-Founder of Movement Entertainment:
“After a two-year break we are finally ready to get back and we’re very excited to be adding another day to the program, a gift to our audience that has supported us throughout this tough period. A longer festival for a bigger audience: our goal is to host 90k people onsite, 40% of whom we hope will be international guests (they were 32% in 2019).”
The world-renowned electronic music and digital arts festival’s 9th edition will now run across Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July returning to the famous Parco Dora in central Turin, promising to be its most ambitious event yet, boasting the winning formula of spectacular weather, top-class production and an unbeatable line-up – plus so much more, all soon to be revealed.
The festival’s last edition in 2019 was a record-breaking success – selling out both days (over 50, 000 tickets) and bringing together over 100 different nations of passionate house and techno lovers to enjoy the world’s best DJs. As a testament to the festival’s continual growth and global appeal, Kappa FuturFestival also won the coveted ‘Best International Festival’ award at that year’s DJ Awards joining a prestigious list of previous winners such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Sónar Music Festival, Creamfields and Awakenings.
Stay tuned for line up news and lots more – coming soon!
