Karen Harding Returns With ‘You & I’ Ahead Of EP Release

Karen Harding returns to Ultra Music with ‘You & I’, ahead of her 8-track EP ‘Sweet Vibrations’ (forthcoming on 15th October). With shades of classic house and a trademark, instantly catchy vocal, ‘You & I’ underlines Karen’s status as one of the UK’s most talented singer / songwriters. Karen Harding’s star continues to rise. Her acoustic piano version of Roxette’s ‘Must Have Been Love’ featured in the most recent series of Love Island and surely contributed to her recent milestone – hitting an amazing 1 million Shazams. Her enduring appeal saw her recently hit another milestone – 1 million UK sales of her breakthrough top 10 hit single ‘Say Something’. Since that first single she has matured as a songwriter and performer, showing an innate ability to combine melody, meaningful lyrics and flawless vocals to move the dancefloor. As a result, she has featured and co-written with numerous influential artists including Purple Disco Machine, Paul Woolford, and Giorgio Moroder, and crashed through an incredible half a billion streams of her music, with close to 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

‘You & I’ opens with uplifting and emotive chords with a classic piano house flavour. The effect is enhanced with Karen’s soulful opening refrain, which builds along with the drums to a big drop guaranteed to put smiles on faces as people flock to the dancefloor. Karen’s vocal hooks are as strong as ever, grabbing hold from the very first listen. This is a sublime slice of feelgood dance music equally at home across the airwaves as it is on the dancefloor.
