Polish deep house duo Karol XVII & MB Valence return to Déepalma Records in fine form for a collaborative release with Lazarusman on the vocals and 8Bit label boss Gorge on remix duties.
All three acts on this new Déepalma offering need little introduction. Their combined back catalogues read like a listing of the finest labels in the market, spanning Get Physical, Toolroom or Exploited just to mention a few.
Now, with his remix on ‘Whispers’ 8bit label boss Gorge is once more giving proof of his brilliant production skills. His version begins smoothly with poignant chords, filtered drums and purring synth drones, slowly opening up to the song’s main part, composed of menacing low-ends, tangled melodies and twisted effects, perfectly melting with the inimitable vocals from Lazarusman which are carrying the track throughout. The result is a deep trippy club track with increasingly rising energy, destined to light up dance floors time and time again.
‘Karol XVII & MB Valence – Whispers (Gorge Remix)’ drops via Déepalma Records on 10th May.
