Romanian artist Kataa is no stranger to the Déepalma franchise, featuring across both of our labels throughout the years. Renowned for his deep and soulful approach to House music production, Kataa’s defined audio signature comes to play at full strength across his latest release.
Opening with ‘Don’t Walk Away’, the track is a progressively rising Deep House number with a prominent melodic presence from the outset. Riding a well-thought combination of punchy drums, crisp percussion and synth lines from the start, its rolling journey, laced with soulful vocals and funky instrumental panache, is enjoyable and addictive. This one is a repeater!
‘Complicated’ completes the release with more uplifting charisma from the jump. Another vocal-led track with an ultimately enjoyable hotbed of harmonies and pacy drum work; its feel-good personality carries you through a myriad of scenes and emotions whilst keeping you very much on your toes and moving – ticking all the boxes for a great club record.
