Juliet Sikora & King Brain - Katerschmaus

Label boss Juliet Sikora returns to her Kittball imprint alongside King Brain this December to deliver ‘Katerschmaus’, whilst Berlin’s Agent! steps up on remix duties.

Following on from May’s ‘A Tribute To The House Divas’ EP, which gained support from both industry heavyweights including Mark Knight, Riva Starr and from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Danny Howard, Juliet Sikora and King Brain pair up on Kittball once again this December to deliver their latest collaborative project. Joining them is German producer Agent!, who arrives fresh off the back of 2016 releases on Deeperfect, Lapsus Music and Get Physical, and looks set to continue his impressive year with his remix here.

The original mix of ‘Katerschmaus’ opens up the EP and sees Sikora and King Brain implement a mixture of shuffling drums, a bubbling groove line and a series of eastern-influenced melodies that combine to reveal an energy driven cut that’s primed for the peak time.

On the flip, Agent! offers his own interpretation by employing the infectious melodies of the original whilst stripping the production back and incorporating tough kicks and crunchy percussion to round out the release in impressive style.

Juliet Sikora & King Brain ‘Katerschmaus’ is out on Kittball on December 2nd 2016.
