Kelly Clarkson, Jamiroquai, Bullet For My Valentine and Plan B now live on MelodyVR

MelodyVR are proud to announce four new artists added to the virtual reality music platform, with outstanding performances by Kelly Clarkson, Jamiroquai, Bullet For My Valentine and Plan B.

At her recent hometown show in Dallas, global music icon Kelly Clarkson played to a sell out crowd. Performing her hits Since U Been Gone, Because Of You and Stronger, MelodyVR was there to capture this special moment, allowing fans to enjoy the show from 9 different aspects including on stage.

Kelly Clarkson said: “You can watch my entire ‘Meaning of Life’ show in virtual reality, this is crazy! I’m so stoked about this, you can see my entire concert like you’re on the stage – it’s weird, but awesome. Even if you’ve seen the concert in person, it’s a completely different way to see a show. I know a lot of people are like ‘why aren’t you touring here?’ so this is a way you can see my show until I can get to you.”

Lead singer Jay Kay said: “The O2 has always been a special gig for me, and the last two were no exception. I’m pleased to be able to share this show with you in an exciting and immersive way, thanks to the team at MelodyVR.

Also in the capital, Bullet For My Valentine and Plan B both teamed up with MelodyVR.

Bullet For My Valentine, one of the biggest metal acts of music history coming live from Alexandra Palace.  Watching the show back in VR, lead singer Matt Tuck was suitably impressed “The fans can see it from our perspective… Pretty trippy! It’s such an immersive experience and such a clever use of technology. Our show’s bangin!”

Across the river at O2 Brixton Academy, singer-songwriter and rapper, Plan B, added the chance for his fans to all be on stage with him after hooking up with MelodyVR.

The only licensed VR music platform, MelodyVR has partnerships across the industry, and has teamed up with a huge array of international artists to build the world’s largest library of immersive and interactive virtual reality music experiences.

The MelodyVR app is available on Oculus Go and GearVR devices, transporting music fans all over the world to sold-out shows, far-flung festivals and exclusive VIP sessions, to experience the music they love in new ways.
