About three years ago Yael Nahar started CMC$ as something harmless. Today it has grown into a successful brand we can’t ignore. See Me Counting Stacks a.k.a. CMC$ is currently one of the most promising names in the scene. He created a unique and distinctive sound with future bass, trap and pop influences. Something which has been noticed by the big players in the dance scene, gaining him respect and support from artists such as Diplo, Major Lazer, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Dyro and Yellow Claw. This all resulted in successful studio sessions with Martin Garrix, Conor Maynard and DVBBS.
CMC$’ first original release ‘Wake Up Call’ reached the 4th spot in the iTunes charts. Followed by remixes for the likes of Laidback Luke, Moksi, Jay Hardway and GTA and several collaborations with The Partysquad, Girls Love DJs and Lady Bee. However, his biggest one so far is the recently released ‘Not Going Home’ with party starters DVBBS, which gained over 10 million streams within a few weeks.
Ready to infect the world with his new single ‘Keys’, he sets the bar high and shows a glimpse of what we can expect from CMC$ for the upcoming year. An amazing tune for which he teamed up with the female vocalist Jalise Romy. Jalise Romy embraced her vocal talent at an early age and has been sharing her story ever since. She is the protégé of the famous songwriter/producer Giorgio Tuinfort (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Sia and David Guetta) and worked with several international artists and collaborated with Ghostface Killah, Hell Razah and Shyheim from Wu-Tang and Busta Rhymes.
