Kito & Chrome Sparks Unite For New Collaborative Project IS U IS U With Debut Single ‘All I Need’ via Mad Decent

Electronic tastemakers Kito and Chrome Sparks have unveiled their new collaborative project IS U IS U with their debut single ‘All I Need’ out now via Mad Decent.

At a combined height of 12’ 3”, IS U IS U is the new DJ duo poised to tower over dance floors worldwide. IS U IS U is made up of Kito, the skyscraper of sound, and Chrome Sparks, the mountain of melody, who have a robust catalog of solo releases and collaborations across many genres with artists such as Skrillex, Flume, Khalid, Channel Tres, and Jorja Smith.

For their debut effort, Kito and Chrome Sparks have beautifully blended the inklings of their indie inclinations with the danceable rhythms and bright motifs of their electronic roots. Instantly intoxicating, ‘All I Need’ shimmers with bouncy basslines, shiny synth stabs and fluttering guitar accents. An all-absorbing listening experience, ‘All I Need’ flaunts Kito and Chrome Sparks’ affinity for textured soundscapes through a euphoric medley of glazy sampled vocals, lush tones and mesmerizing melodies. ‘All I Need’ is the first glimpse into the sonic wonderland Kito and Chrome Sparks will create as IS U IS U this Spring.

Australian-born, LA-based artist Kito has built a stunning discography that showcases her vibrant take on left-field pop and dance music. Her credits extend to include work with Skrillex on his Grammy-nominated Quest For Fire (‘Inhale Exhale’ with Aluna), as well as artists such as BANKS, Fletcher, Empress Of, and Tinashe. Across her pair of EPs, HAANI in 2018 and Blossom in 2021, Kito collaborated with acts like ZHU, Hudson Mohawke, Jeremih, Channel Tres, VanJess, BROODS, and more. As a  DJ, Kito is known for her curated underground event series Club Kito, who’s special guests have included Jimmy Edgar, Empress Of, A-Trak, Uffie and Tove Lo, and has graced the stage at festivals like Electric Forest and Bonnaroo. 

Chrome Sparks has made a name for himself as a renowned indie-electronic artist. Chrome Sparks released his debut self-titled album in 2018, and has collaborated alongside artists like Flume, Khalid, Petit Biscuit, Reo Cragun, Whethan, and more. On stage, he’s performed alongside acts like ODESZA, Tycho, Bonobo, TOKiMONSTA, Porter Robinson, and Cyril Hahn.
