Miami and Winter Music Conference – Warm afternoons of breezy sunshine give way to dusk as your favorite DJ drops your favorite tunes – there’s not much better. Dance Music’s annual celebration of music is upon us and Klangkarussell have produced a song that embodies the wonderful spirit of our community. Destined to be the soundtrack to your 2015 Miami memories, “Sun Don’t Shine” sees Austrian duo team up with rising Seattle-born artist Jaymes Young for a fresh take on their synth-infused hit of the same name.
Jaymes Young has earned wide-ranging accolades for his emotive songcraft and utterly unique fusion of indie, pop, electronica, and contemporary R&B. Jaymes has reached No. 1 on Hype Machine numerous times and recently supported Vance Joy on his sold-out US tour while previously supporting London Grammar on their US and UK tours.
“Sun Don’t Shine” is Klangkarussell’s first release for acclaimed dance music label Astralwerks and comes on the heels of their acclaimed 2014 four-track Falls Like Rain EP which ranked in the Top 5 in ten countries and Top 20 in fourteen countries.
Klangkarussell is currently in the midst of their most successful North American tour to date with upcoming dates at SXSW and the Ultra Music Festival, among others.
