Kodiak Arcade and Cabin Fever Orchestra ‘No Reason To Change’ – out now!

Kodiak Arcade and Cabin Fever Orchestra have teamed up for their latest single, ‘No Reason To Change’, a poignant pop track underscored by lush orchestral accompaniment. The song speaks to the universal desire for acceptance, exploring the concept that, despite our imperfections, we are deserving of unconditional love. It encourages listeners to embrace vulnerability, drop their defences, and trust that openness can foster strength and connection. The seamless blend of pop and orchestral elements offers a powerful message of self-acceptance and love.

At the helm of Cabin Fever Orchestra is Graeme Cornies, an accomplished composer whose career spans over 18 years, known for his work on television soundtracks like ‘Paw Patrol’ and ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood’. With ‘No Reason To Change’, Cornies fuses his two musical worlds—pop songwriting and orchestral composition—showcasing his versatility as an artist. “Usually, my pop songs and orchestral works are so different from one another that they don’t sound alike in the slightest,” Cornies explains. “But this song represents the intersection of both of those sides of my musical voice.”

The recording process began with guitar and vocals, expanding into a rich string arrangement that includes contributions from longtime collaborators Joshua Van Tassel (producer/composer) and Drew Jurecka (violin/viola), as well as Ben Trigg on cello and Bruno Migliari on double bass. Mastered at Dreamlands by Heather Kirby, the track’s final production beautifully melds pop melodies with orchestral depth. Cornies, deeply inspired by Fred Rogers’ messages of self-acceptance, echoes the idea that love and worthiness do not require change—a sentiment that resonates strongly throughout ‘No Reason To Change’.
