Kove ft Melissa Steel – Way We Are

MTA records announce the latest release from Kove, his second EP to be signed to the label with ‘Way We Are’ featuring Melissa Steel, out now. Having made a name for himself back in 2014 with the hugely supported ‘Love For You’ from his debut MTA EP ‘Measures’, Kove continues to prove there’s plenty more where that came from.

Initially premiered on Annie Mac’s show on BBC Radio 1, ‘Way We Are’ quickly garnered support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Toddla T and Mistajam. Built around a bassline that bounces beneath the smooth vocals of new vocalist, Melissa Steel, Kove rips up the rulebook with ‘Way We Are’, roughing it up around the edges of its main house hook with bass-heavy d&b licks. Complete with a DnB territory B side ‘Liberator’ with a frenetic, fast-paced instrumental that shows Kove’s flair for pulling together a multitude of cross-genre influences for an unforgettable and irresistible sound all of his own. The EP is rounded off with edits; Dub mix and 174 mix, as well as remixes from Preditah & APEXAPE, stream the full EP here: http://bit.ly/1hC5E20

Having set the dance music scene alight with his impressive remixes of Foxes ‘Holding On To Heaven’, John Newman’s ‘Love Me Again’, Bastille’s ‘Of the Night’ and Chase & Status’ ‘Lost & Not Found’, Kove demonstrates his rising stature in the dance music scene, catching the attention of big names and titles in the industry including BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac.

With shows scheduled for some of the UK’s biggest dance music festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, GlobalGathering, Creamfields and Lovebox, as well as playing his Together residency at Ibiza’s Amnesia, combined with music this strong, Kove will be positively inescapable this Summer.
