Kove – Measures

At just 22 years of age, Kove is already a man in demand having set the dance music scene alight with his impressive remixes of John Newman’s ‘Love Me Again’ and Chase & Status’s ‘Lost & Not Found’.  Now preparing for the next step in his career, ‘Measures’ EP out on 21st October via MTA records is four irresistible tracks that confirm Kove as one of the UK’s hottest emerging talents.

Already gaining the nod of approval from the likes of RAM Records Andy C and Matrix & Futurebound, Kove demonstrates his worth on the track ‘Searching’, with it’s instant markings of a future house-tinged, D&B classic.

Loaded with bass and built around climatic melodies, Kove’s standout quality lies in his dynamic productions, with each track on the ‘Measures’ EP offering something fresh and new. ‘Love For You’ is an instant hit with its Balearic-edged, 4/4 piercing snare claps and throbbing bass that will be sure to animate revelers this summer.

‘Lose You’ is another example of Kove’s stellar production abilities, as sun-drenched percussion is quickly propelled skywards and replaced with a sparkling intensity, complete with tropical flavours. Now we did tell you Kove could turn his hand to anything…

With backing from Chase & Status’s MTA Records who know more than a thing or two when it comes to releasing quality music, irrespective of genre, Kove’s distinctive sound is one you’ll be hearing a lot more of in 2013.
